My next fabric collection is totally tubular dude! This one is all about fun in the sun and riding the waves. There is a Hawaiian vibe to it. Ocean blues, earthy browns and greens, and bright, vivid oranges. Throw in some woody cars with surf boards on top, turtles, hibiscus flowers, groovy surf boards, and perfect plaids, you have yourself the perfect summer palette for your fabric projects this summer!

And this one is for the little guy and big guy alike. Make your man a Hawaiian shirt for those summer cookouts in any of these prints. Or how about a matching father/son shirt set? They will turn heads for sure!

Love of the Arts

Today I am sharing some Mary Engelbreit prints that speak to a love of the arts. If you are a follower of my blog, you know that I like to share Mary's artwork. I have a 365 day desk calendar of hers that I look forward to seeing everyday.

I am an artist. My designs are printed on fabric. I create art with pencil, pen, crayons, charcoal, digitally, and with my sewing machine. These are the things I do for myself. It is me and my thoughts, expressed on paper, on the screen, through fabric, or any other way I can find. Without art, I would not be me.

This is why I like Mary Engelbreit so much. She shares her passion for the arts with all of us. She encourages us to share with one another.
